Review summary

The cruise ship was wonderful and the activities on the ship were non stop.  Very nice and courteous ship crew, from our cabin steward to all of the wait staff.  The food on the ship was excellent, no matter where we ate!  We chose 'your time dinning' and very pleased that we did.   We were traveling with two teenagers and they had plenty of activities to keep them busy through the entire cruise.  We chose our  land excursions through and had very great experiences!!  All in all we would recommend this cruise to anyone who is looking for a truly great time at sea.

We took a twelve by twelve cooler and pre-ordered bottled water for out room. Our cabin Steward Francisco, kept our cooler full of ice and water the entire cruise! It was great!

Ship tip

There was never a time that you could not get something to eat. Room service was 24 hours, and you could get pizza all night!

If you have never done it, try and swim with the dolphins. It was an experience of a lifetime! It wasn't a rushed time. We had plenty of time to interact with them and swim with them. The pictures are expensive, but considering......I bought the dvd so that I could print the ones that I wanted.

We had a private tour of just 5 people, that we booked through CruisesOnly and it was really informative. Our guide was very knowledgeable and warm. He talked to us the whole two our ride to Chichen Itza. He made the trip go really fast. Rode in a very nice air conditioned van! At the ruins he tried to make sure we had plenty of shade whenever we could. Take water!! You will need it!!!

I totally agree. I really enjoy the Triumph and was planning to sail on it again for the 3rd time. I was saddened to hear it will be leaving, but this will make my husband and I try another Carnival vessel the next time. :)

I agree. what the ship lacks due to size and age, her crew and staff more than make up in excellence and energy. Had a great cruise and was able to cross off the Triumph off my list of ships.

We had a similar experience on the Triumph. The crew does an exceptional job. Soon the Triumph will begin sailing from New Orleans instead of Galveston. That will be a loss, but we get to sail on her one last time in December.
