Review summary
For the price, this cruise was a good getaway for my husband and me. We didn't feel like they offered a ton of activities (especially since the main stage kept having technical issues during the evening show), but that forced us to enjoy new activities like Bingo and to go watch movies on deck. Food was kind of hit or miss. The burger bar was good. Pizza and sandwiches were okay. In the dining room, my husband and I enjoyed a small table to ourselves. We learned to order three or four appetizers between us (always ask for a cheese plate), so that we could enjoy all they had to offer. Appetizers were almost always the best items. The entrees were about on par with a casual chain restaurant...though the lobster was good as always. Overall, the staff was very helpful and nice. The excursion desk even helped us get a partial refund when our Progresso excursion turned out to be a dud. We even got good pictures on formal night.
