Review summary

Food was very bad, taste old.   Neighbors were loud, didn't get any sleep. There were several other things.  Don't see myself on another cruise. to pricing for what  was received. This was to be a dream ( not a nightmare) vacation.

brittniem21 FYI the only time I felt the boat moving was while sleeping and that was because we were in a storm just take a motion sickness med before you lay down to bed. oh and I live in a mobile home and I am on deck 11 definitely not trailer trash but I am trailer awesome.

I'll be on deck 6 more toward the back on the triumph in an interior room in March! I am super nervous since I get car sick pretty easy!!! I'm hoping it's ok!!!

I usually book balcony suites on decks 9 or above. Lucking out with well behaved neighbors is pure chance. Our neighbors on deck 11 smoked marijuana and had loud sex!

Granny lived in a MOBILE home. A trailor is easily pulled behind a regular truck, most often without walls. Not a very livable thing. Money is the same color for everyone. Don't want to cruise with people that makes less than you? Charter your own so you can pick out the snobs that travel with you. I LOVED the deck two cove balcony. Not because of price, but location!

I happen to prefer balcony cabins and I'm happy to pay extra for it. That said, I've never felt people on lower decks to be trailer trash. Everyone values a different aspect of the cruise experience and some people just don't give a damn where their cabin is. Point is, it's irrelevant and I don't think you can or should stereotype based on that. Silly.

Right I was on deck on our room was right by the elevators and we had no problems . You just got bad neighbors cuz our neighbors was 4 teenage boy and they give us no problems

I don't think you were on the same cruise as our food was great all week long

We almost always book on lower decks because they are more stable and we rarely experience seasickness in rough waters.  If fact many times we see performers sitting on our deck trying to overcome queasiness.  I also always book mid ship for the same reason.  As for noisy neighbors, you may find them on every deck.  I have been lucky as I have rarely had this problem.  But my favorite cruise line is HAL.

Sister and law and her husband stayed on deck 2 in a ocean view room and their room was bigger than our balcony room I prefer the balcony I like to sit out there at night and relax but to each there own I guess. Ok I'm done lol

The stewards asked them numerous times to quit it didn't even phase them there was close to 100 of them on our floor and I actually saw a group of them complaining at guest services saying they didn't think they should have to pay gratuities they where EXTREMELY RUDE that to me is trailer parkish however they were on deck 9 so point of the story it's on every floor not just the lower ones my

I've never stayed on a lower deck but to be honest there is trash on all decks just like in life I guess. But you just look around it! Our last cruise "not being racist" there was a bunch of Indian families sharing a block of interior rooms across from our room and they some how snuck hot plates into the room and would cook their stinky stinky stinky food in there room and smell up the entire hall

Tatt2ed. You are a snob

GlendaMil    9 years ago

Snobs should stay in the penthouse suit so the fun people can enjoy themselves People on a budget are not trash !!!!! I am on deck 9 but I would be just as happy on the lower decks !

I don't live in a trailer, but I'm sure that there are plenty of nice people who do

cbw    9 years ago

however, i can sleep through a hurricane

cbw    9 years ago

well... I'm not trailer ish... lol i like the first floor because it's quiet and i like being right at the waters edge in my ocean view room. yes I also like the cheaper room fare because, let's face it, I'm just sleeping there.... i can take ear plugs if i felt i needed them. but I've never needed them, and that's with the kids in the room to. if they don't wake up because of the noise, then I'm not bothered

malloryrena    9 years ago

You aren't in the room enough to care really. Too much stuff to see and do. (=

I'm on deck 1 for my first upcoming cruise. I had to book a room on deck 1 because I have 5 people going. I'm certainly not a trailer-ish kind of person. I'm paying a nice chunk of money for this cruise. Some people don't have a choice and some people would rather save their money for other things such as excursions and souvenirs as opposed to paying more for fancier rooms! Get a life tatt2ed

peanutrc    9 years ago

Cruise with a different line. We prefer Holland America. Less kids, nicer ships, more upscale at about the same price. We tried Carnival and will never use them again.

malloryrena    9 years ago

Trailer Park? LOL! How ridiculous can you be? Think before you type!

dede1116    9 years ago

tatt2ed is rude. I didn't choose our cabin based on price I chose a balcony room for my husband otherwise I'd be on deck 2!

We have stayed on the 1st and 2nd decks on 2 other cruises. Not trailer park at all! We actually enjoy it!

Brad38    9 years ago

sw100148    9 years ago

dede1116    9 years ago
