Review summary

The cruise ship is very old, rusty and needs a urgent upgrade and revamp, also the entertainment was poor, if you decide to cruise with Carnival and your children is under 2 years old, don't waste your money, they do not cater for babies under 2 years, no baby sitting, cant swim in the pools, when the cruise is over, it takes about 2hrs to get off and get your bags, very un organized crew, we missed our car pickup, lost 130Usd in the process, plus we needed to book another company to take us to the airport, all this due to the time it takes to get of the ship and how slow it is. due to no baby sitting facilities we could not enjoy any activities on the boat, but on there website it shows baby sitting, but not for children under 2, and no one informed us, so that was not expected till be got on the ship.

We will be taking a barely 2 year old on Oct. 10th and we have worked really hard to make sure he potty trained before the trip. As far as babysitting who in their right mind would want a stranger watching a child who can barley talk?

We'll have our extended family of 8, on the Triumph, over NYE. It will include my 9 mo old & 3 1/2 yr old nephew. The Camp Ocean/Carnival program clearly states the ages online, during the check-in/registration process, so one should never expect a crew member from another country to watch a baby going through separation/stranger anxiety, teething, time changes & more! Swim diapers don't hold poop

We had a blast. I would take a baby on a cruise.

Brailey12 if you had such a horrible time why are you on the Triumph page weeks after your cruise? Get a life!

I just got back and had an absolute blast! We closed relaxed debarkation and had no problems getting off the ship - very organized. The one star review because there was nobody to watch the child you close to bring to life and on a CRUISE is s bit overboard!

I certainly am not hired and loved my cruise and looking forward to next cruise. Cruise is just not everyone's cup of tea and people being different is what makes the world interesting

We took our 16 month old grand baby and we all had a blast. Based on information I read online, I was fully aware of the age requirements for the pool. We found other things she could enjoy like the Dr Seuss Parade, Dr Seuss Storytime, and the Green Eggs & Ham Breakfast. She also enjoyed the other regular activities as well, so we still had a great time!!

well we are taking the whole family of 14 and I am going to babysit late at night so my daughter's can go out with their hubbies. I have gone on 6 with carnival and will enjoy seeing all the kids faces watching the ocean. It is stressful getting off the ship but so is the airport...lol.

I think the time of year has a lot to do with it. During the school months they don't make it as kid friendly as they could. I've noticed lack of kids activities on both NCL and carnival when school would normally be in session

I'm also going on the 10th and wasn't hired to give good review.

I haven't been on the triumph yet. We sale October 10. I may be saying the same thing is you when I get back though, LOL

I swear I think they hire people to write reviews. I wouldn't go back on this boat if it was free. Worst 1.900 spent in my life

Take a nanny with you when cruising with child under two

I have been on triumph with my 4 year old granddaughter and she loved it. plenty of other kids to play with and plenty of activities. no problems getting off the ship on the last day. also love the crew. we are going again in 9 days.

First off all. Why would you even bring a 2 year old on a cruise?! Glad I wasn't on that boat! Second, your making it out to seem like it is all the ships fault you couldn't party and have a good time. You're the one who CHOSE to bring a 2 year old! Why would you automatically expect someone else to watch your child! Next time, arrange a babysitter For your vacation !

I personally don't think cruises on ANY line are good for 2 yr olds. Or even 4 for that matter. Went on NCL in April with my 3yr old grandson. Hell. Just hell.

Why would you bring a baby on a cruise?

Sounds like you need a better travel agent.
