Review summary

The Carnival Triumph was a nice ship. I was a little frustrated that we couldn't go to the forward part of the ship due to its design. There were several activities for all ages. The food was just "meh". Many items in the dining room could be found on the Lido deck buffet.

Nothing great here. Did the Dolphin Adventure which was enjoyable. Again, get ready for the vendors at the port. Prices here are much more expensive than in Progreso for the same stuff.

Buddy's on the beach was a great restaurant. Got to sit on the beach, drink $2 Coronas; ate guacamole and fish tacos. Too many pandering vendors trying to sell anything from bootleg DVDs to Spiderman kites to Cuban cigars.

Pros: A variety of activities for families of all ages

Cons: Dining room food was just OK. Attitude of indifference by some staff members.
