Review summary

From embarkation to debarkation the cruise was a great time. My wife had cruised before, but this was my first time. We went with another couple and not one of us had a bad experience with crew, food, activities, staterooms, etc. The best activity was the Chef's Table the third night of the cruise. Truly a VIP evening...10 course meal....tour of the galley...wine pairing...and a story from the executive chef of the boat. A couple things to change is not to nickle and dime you on everything. For example, if you get the unlimited soda fountain card they pour all your drinks out of a can - FREE; if you drink one of the SAME canned drinks in the stateroom - NOT FREE.

The Chef's Table was MAGNIFICENT! The normal meals were good with a couple REALLY good meals. What made our dining experience good was the staff...our waiter Adi was hilarious!

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

This is a fairly new port in Mexico so it hasn't been built up yet. Rather than go to the beach with the other 3,000 passengers we decided to take a cab to Merida...very neat experience with a tour of downtown Merida. If you want to do this leave the ship as early as possible cause it takes about 45 minutes to get to/from the boat.
