Review summary

Extremely disappointed that we could not locate our tour director for the glass bottomed boat tour and that no employee could give us proper directions.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Very organized but too much walking for almost 80-year-old legs.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
All the meals were outstanding!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Played Bingo. Pool was very small and packed with kids. Serenity area was also packed.

Entertainment

didn't participate

Children's Programs

didn't bring children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every crew member we spoke to was courteous and helpful. GREAT CREW !!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean ship. Well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin design could be improved when twin beds are made into king. Getting into and out of bed for inside sleeper against window wall becomes very difficult. I would replace the sleeper sofa with a sleeper recliner chair, move the bed further in the direction of cabin door. This would allow the king bed to be moved away from window wall allowing access into bed much easier for inside sleeper.

Ship tip

Be prepared for a hectic embarkation day and many families with lots of children.

Ports of call

Charleston, South Carolina Did not visit port

have been there several times

Nassau, Bahamas Did not visit port

After searching for 45 minutes and asking more than 5 people for directions could not locate our tour director for glass bottomed boat tour. So exhausted from searching returned to ship for a cold shower and rest.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island) Did not visit port

Cancelled due to Hurricane Milton.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Very organized. A lot of walking. Helpful attendants.

Unfortunate about the hurricane. I hope you've gotten the best out of it. Thank you for your review.

Ship excursions tend to meet on the pier alongside the ship in Nassau, now more often in the tents between the ships. Were there no green/teal or orange shirted personnel illing around after the photo op set-up to answer questions? If the tour is from a 3rd party vendor, neither port personnel nor ship's crew can help you find the tour guide, which are often required to wait outside of the security gates on the street for their patrons.

That's sad about the guide. What happened? Where were you supposed to meet?
