Traveled for leisure with family. Truly relaxing time with 4 sea days.
Embarkation

Mixed emotions on this one. Some aspects were great, while others were the worse. Traveled with a person on a scooter. Parking was free with disabled plaque. The terminal at the pier is nice but too small to process everyone, so you go through an old falling apart out building for checkin and passport. Then they shuttle you to the pier terminal. Those needing assistance had to wait too long both for a shuttle and then the lone elevator at the pier. I can see why Charleston won't be a home port after this year.

I think the quality was the best post COVID out of 7 Carnival cruises. There is hope....

Other than 1 night in MDR, the staff was fantastic.
Ship Quality

Don't kid yourself. The ship is showing some wear, but it is still sea-worthy, and the crew takes decent care of her. I prefer the Spirit Class, but this or the Conquest class comes in a close second.
Cabin / Stateroom

They tried to clean the windows once, but the light and size was nice. Our room steward Iwayan was fantastic.
Ship tip
Hit up the Havana bar often. Great view on sea days and service is fairly quick. It has two omelet stations typically found in the Lido Marketplace and turns into free lunches for Itailian and Asian. $ for dinner. However, a great use of space.
Unfortunately, the port facilities don't do the city justice. Could use 3 to 5 days to explore it and the surrounding area. Great history from pre Revolutionary War thru Civil War. Never knew how much influence the city had on the founding of our nation.
Because of the layout, it is too far to walk and too long to wait for shuttle when traveling with assistance needed. At least they allowed us to disembark on deck 0, negating the lone elevator log jam in the terminal.
