Review summary

I would never recommend this ship to anyone and our storm experience was horrifying and was not handled properly by the ships captain or whoever else should have been updating all guests. 12 horrifying hours passed before any announcements to assure passengers safety. The captain should be fired!!

I would hope if I ever encountered such bad sea conditions that the captain and the bridge crew would be more focused on getting the ship and it’s passengers safely to port rather than making announcements that the weather is bad. Probably just me…🤷🏼‍♂️

Sunshine is one of our favorite ships. Cruised on it 6 times with 2 more booked. We have cruised in rough weather many times. It happens on the ocean.

This has been all over the news. I feel terrible you and other cruisers went through such a terrifying experience. One would think the captain would have avoided the storm; that's so weird to put passengers in that situation. I'm glad everyone is safely home. Blessings.

Not sure why you think the captain didn't handle things properly??? He got the ship and passengers back safely! That is his job, not making announments!
