My favorite thing specifically on the cruise probably be the music. The rock band and the duo musicians were great we loved it.
Embarkation

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The buffet food for breakfast lunch and dinner was just your traditional home-cooked food. There wasn’t anything special about it the dining room, which was open from 1730 to 2100. I believe the food was better. The dining room food was different every night and you got a show the waiters and waitresses. were great, they were very interactive. We also did the Fahrenheit 555 which was a very good meal especially for $44 I believe. The steak I got was a ribeye very good cook perfectly. The meals were proportion good and very good staff. For the price of the meal it was well worth $44.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We had a great time doing all the activities on board. We loved the comedy show the live music we attended a lot of the trivia‘s. There was a lot of things to do well worse the walking around a lot of the shows we were attending were around the same area so it was nice.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The musicians and the DJs were great. The shows were awesome. Definitely recommend 10 out of 10. Great environment to grab a drink and just relax with family and friends.
Children's Programs
4 out of 5
My younger brother had attended the kids club one day. He did not mind it. He got bored after a while however, he was able to check himself out. He wanted to go back another day however, we had stuff planned, so I reckon he enjoyed it.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff and service were great. Never any issues always there to help. They were always cleaning some thing they did a great job.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Your first one to four days you don’t really notice anything the rooms are clean. The main areas are clean. However, when you’re looking around on your balcony, and in your bathroom, you start to notice the small things if you really nitpicking the boat is older so there’s rust in some areas but it’s not bad the main area where you are is good the rooms are clean the beds are clean never any issues with them. Obviously there’s always something you can improve on for cleanliness.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
We did not have any issues with our cabin room 8303 specifically had two twin size beds, the sofa that converted into a bed and a bed that could drop down from the ceiling. The beds were clean sheets were cleaned and the room is cleaned. The balcony has two chairs and a table.
Ship tip
Just enjoy yourself. People are going to give negative opinions about it. This was my first cruise and my first ship and I enjoyed it. I saw a lot of negative reviews, and people talking about how they do not enjoy cruises or us that ship or cruise line. However, we/ I did enjoy it in every way possible it was a good get away with my family.
Princess Kay’s was a very nice island very well cleaned wasn’t too busy. We ended up getting a chair fairly quickly and it wasn’t too bad the view and the island is very nice. The people are great. The only downside to it is since it is carnival owned you would assume that you will be able to use your drink package/soda package on the island. However, you’re not able to you can use your card to purchase things. However the drink package does not transfer off the boat even though it’s carnival owned.
It’s a nice place we did not do any excursions. We ended up having a rainy day that day. It didn’t look very attractive to me. The views were nice. The only beach we saw from our boat was a very small spot next to one of the bars, however, due to the rain, not many people got off for long.
The port, a port, there’s nothing special about it there’s a battleship nearby can look at we had some dolphin swimming why so it’s pretty cool to look at while we are waiting to depart.
The disembarkation was very simple and easy for us. We got off at 6:45 in the morning because we were fast of the fun and loaded back on our vehicles and left fairly early to head back home. Staff was there to accommodate you. You were able to give your luggage to your stewardess to have them carry down for you. However, we opted to carry our own since we were leaving. Once you get off the boat they have your luggage in piles, if you do end up giving it to your stewardesses and they are labeled by numbers it looked fairly organized.
