Very dissapointed with the service and staff on this ship. Besides Samuel and Leon, I would be ok with never sailing on this ship again

food at buffet was bland and same choices every single day. If skipped dining room for menu purposes the buffet served the same thing so what is the point of options if there are none

staff was rude and did not interact with us at all. very stone faced and didn't smile when you tried to speak to them. Samuel in the casino was the ONLY great staff member!! dining staff was boring and made us feel like we were a bother to them

Cabin / Stateroom

was so much smaller than described to me while booking. was told they had no accessible cabins left and said this cabin would work well for what we needed. once the cot was put up, the entire room was bed. I had to step into the closet so my mother in law could pass me to go to the bathroom. it was like a sardine can and not meant for 3 people. very poor description of cabin when booking
Ship tip
bring your own straws, they are very stingy with their nasty edible ones. Had a bartender fight with me because I asked for one and didnt order a drink. the bartender gave my wife a drink without one so I asked for one for her. Always had an argument
My wife has to stop and catch a breath every once in a while while walking and everytime she did, someone was right there telling her to move along. Yet nobody wanted to offer assistance
Interesting that to other reviewer’s on the same exact sailing. Enjoyed it. I guess it has to do with the attitude of the person sailing whether they are looking to have a good time or looking for problems.
Wow this is very surprising. We sailed this ship in September and we are sailing her again in May. I found the staff to be wonderful especially since they were still short staffed. We look forward to cruising her again in May. Sorry to hear your cruise was disappointing.
We have had 6 great cruises on the Sunshine and 2 more booked. It is o ne of our definate favorites. Sorry you did not enjoy but know we will as it is a great ship with a great crew.
