Review summary

We had a great time and got lots of rest. We did have neighbors that were loud, but most people do not realize they are not the only ones on vacation sometimes.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Charleston is a different port from others, but it went very smoothly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was amazing. The only bad experience was with the fried chicken. It was very hard and dry.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We did not participate.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The music was good.

Children's Programs

We did not travel with children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the waiters were very professional. Hendri, our room steward was awesome. He was very personable and took care of our needs immediately. All personnel well very friendly when encountered.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship was ok just needs to be refurbished or replaced. It is an older ship and could use upgrades.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was comfortable and was always clean. The bathroom was really small for a balcony room. I was used to larger bathrooms with a balcony room.

Ship tip

Be sure to meet your room steward and don’t be afraid to ask any of the personnel for anything you need.

Ports of call

Charleston, South Carolina

3 out of 5
Charleston is a very unique port and is not very easily maneuvered when you have mobility issues. It is an older port and needs some serious upgrades if it continues as a cruise port.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island) Did not visit port

Was not going to take a water taxi because of motion sickness.

Nassau, Bahamas Did not visit port

Have been to Nassau several times in the past.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
The disembarkation seemed to be less organized than any other disembarkation I have experienced. Again, Charleston port is not easily maneuvered if you have mobility issues.

Sorry you didn’t go to Half Moon Cay. You missed the most gorgeous beach ever. The shuttle boat over wasn’t that bad but I suppose it would be for you with motion sickness. Was being on the ship ok for you?

Thank you for sharing! Charleston port required a lot of walking.

Appreciate your feedback. Glad you enjoyed the ship if not the ports of call.
