I was very disappointed on arriving to our room and not being able to surprise my wife with the room being setup for our honeymoon. I did had a great time eating dinner, swimming, shopping, casino and visiting the two different islands we docked up at. I am also upset about some charges appearing on my card that shouldn't be there and I am discussing that with carnival cruise line and will let you know what happens.

Service and Staff

Wasn't happy with the service at all, our room was supposed to be setup for her to be a surprise for our honeymoon. With decorations all in the room and a small cake, which none of this was done. I had to tell the people serving our room that it was supposed to be setup for a Honeymoon and wasn't could they please do something while I was with her at dinner. They did everything they could, with what they had. They put up a few balloons and folded towels into a cake and heart on in the bed, but it was nothing like the pictures and no cake at all. I was very disappointed that I didn't surprise her with a romantic gesture and made me look really bad to my wife. The other parts of the service and staff was on point and I did appreciate that.

Everything was good and pretty clean
Cabin / Stateroom

I loved our room, the only thing I was disappointed about was there was no bathtub and I am handicapped so a standing shower was not the best thing in the world to me. I did really enjoy the balcony though
Ship tip
To make sure that the people on board know about anything you want done before you come to the room, like a honeymoon surprise.
It's not that far away from Asheville, NC. The people were really nice and u get shuttled around the port until right at the ship. The only thing I was upset about was my wife forgot about a knife that was in her bag and it wasn't allowed on the ship and instead of giving us a envelope to mail it home or hold it somewhere til we got back we had to through it in the trash and it was not a cheap blade.
It was a nice place but not much to do on the island. Also the ship didn't say it was a cash only island so what there was to do we didn't have cash on us. It does have some of the most beautiful waters of anywhere in the Bahamas.
I had to be in a wheelchair and pushed off the off the boat. Which I am very grateful to the service member who did that after another service member pretty much just refused to help me.
