Review summary

This was an amazing family vacation; there were activities going on all the time for all age groups and we plan to go on another cruise with Carnival soon.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
A little confusing for first time cruisers but the staff helped so much.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
There were many different options for even the picky eater of the group. All the food tasted great. The dining areas were always kept very clean.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
My only issue was that I was unaware of the fact toddlers who are not potty trained cannot swim even with a swim diaper, but in the end there were so many other activities to fill our time that we hardly missed the pools on board.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
every show we went to was amazing. The staff working the shows were very talented and we were always left amazed at the end.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
Very kind staff members working with the children. It could be confusing trying to figure out the scheduled open times for drop off.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone we met was amazing to work with; the staff members were always smiling.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Every morning the staff members were scrubbing the decks and any spill was dealt with very quickly. There were hand wash stations and hand sanitizer everywhere.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Always clean, bit cramped for 3 of us but we didn't spend very much time in the cabin unless we were sleeping.

Ship tip

Make sure to get to the shows early to get goo seats; it fills up fast.

Ports of call

Charleston, South Carolina

4 out of 5
Lots of construction going on currently, the parking situation was confusing and they could use some better placed signs for port parking.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
We went to Atlantis for the morning but there was so much to do in Nassau that you could skip the excursion and just sight see.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
The sand was so soft and the water was so clear! Best beach day ever!

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Confusing and drawn out. There has to be a way to make it go more smoothly in the future. Trying to get down the elevators with luggage was impossible and you were stopped in the lobby because to crowd back up was so ridiculous.
