Review summary

This was a great trip...Our second one but our daughter’s first one... I recommend this ship and crew to anyone. I said repeatedly that I cannot imagine any other ship or line having any better service than these folks. We just got back and I am so ready to plan our next cruise with them.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth process..I was afraid of how it would go since I had heard about that port changes since our last time cruising but it went very well and smooth. They do an e cellar to job of moving you through.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was good... we enjoyed the dining room and the wait staff. We chose the “your time dining” and it was a great choice. We had the pleasure of sitting in the section focal team with I Made (I ma-dee) 1 and I Made 2 and Rohan... they are great... if you a chance to request them, you won’t regret it....

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The Serenity deck on this ship was awesome.... this was the largest one I have seen or heard of... pretty much 3 levels... it was great to be able to just get away.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Mikey was our Cruise Director.. He was great... he interacted with the crowd well and tried to be sure everyone had a great time...the Fun Squad was just that....lots of fun... the shows that we took in were good too...

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I wish there was a way to give more than five stars to the service team. Mr K was our room steward...we could not have asked for anyone to take better care of us. He remembered everyone’s name and was always around to see if we needed anything..I have no idea when he slept... everyone always had a ready smile for everyone they encountered... he and his team made us feel so welcomed.... I would hope to have him again for sure....

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I thought the ship was laid out well.... it was decorated very pleasantly...I thought the various options for restaurants and shows were spaced out well. The staff was always cleaning and keeping things orderly. They do an excellent job. I had heard many comments about odors and I was a little concerned...however, the only time we ever smelled anything was when we were going down in the ship to get off for one of the ports...to me, that was somewhat expected and was not bad...

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was nice..we did an internal room and still had plenty of room for us... the housekeeping team with Mr K made it that much better... they took such great care of us... everything was always cleaned and tidy for us.

Ship tip

Enjoy your time... take the time on the first day to explore and get familiar with the layout... interact with the staff, they are great to get to know.

Ports of call

Charleston, South Carolina

5 out of 5
I am from SC and love Charleston... the port is fairly easy to navigate... all parking is now outside but still ok

Nassau, Bahamas

This port is ok... we got to go to the Market this time..You are constantly approached by people wanting to sell you things but this is how they, are a living... when you sayNo, most of the time they move on... I would suggest you browse through multiple shops and checking prices.. my daughter bought something in one shop just to find the same thing half the price just two spots down....

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
This is a beautiful island... not nearly as rocky in the water as the other... my favorite so far

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We were able to get a Faster to the Fun package and were able to carry our own luggage off so we were able to be off the ship very early... it was very organized and smooth...
