We enjoyed our first cruise! Everyone in our party had a great time both on and off the ship. Half Moon Cay is a must if you are going to the Bahamas. The dolphin encounter was one of the highlights of our trip, we highly recommend it. I hope to plan another one within a few years.
Embarkation

We were a little early but they took us right in and then we had to wait while First to Fun and VIP boarded, but it went quickly.

Food and Dining

The dining room was excellent, great food and great service. The buffet was good but I prefer the dining room. The cups for drinks at the buffet and lunch spots were this tupperware plastic that made the water taste like dish detergent and plastic. Use a coffee cup for your water, or better yet bring your own water bottle.
Onboard Activities

Our girls really enjoyed the Camp Ocean kid's club. Our family also enjoyed the games, ropes course, and my husband and son spent a lot of time at the casino. The pool was rather small and crowded, but the girls enjoyed it.
Entertainment

We aren't really into shows, but we enjoyed the comedians and the DJs and musicians were good.

Beds were comfortable. And for a small room, there was plenty of storage space, and our room steward made sure it was clean every day.
Ship tip
Take an early tender to Half Moon Cay, you will want to maximize your time there because it is gorgeous. Eat in the dining room for breakfast and dinner, it's so much better than the buffet.
No excursion here, the beach was amazing. The water was so clear and beautiful. The sand was soft and didn't get hot. We rented tubes and swam all day. I didn't want to leave!
We went to Blue Lagoon Island for the dolphin encounter, inflatable adventure park and lunch. It was another beautiful beach and being in with the dolphins and interacting with them was one of the highlights of our trip. I would highly recommend it. The port of Nassau itself is crowded and touristy, and not as clean as the private islands. I think we made the right choice taking the boat to Blue Lagoon Island.
