Review summary

We had a good time. Not as good as we did on The Splendor. Wish there was more to do on ocean days. The “fun squad” were in a funk - not a cheerful bunch like on our last cruise. All in all we loved the view of the ocean and birds from our balcony. We enjoyed the history tours while at port.

Buffet was so much better the restaurant dining. Elevators up to dining hall took 15+ mins to arrive. Food just wasn’t note worthy.

Our Mexican Cruise was spectacular. Always something going on. Games, crafts, movies...this cruise was constantly pushing their fun shops. Buy buy buy, very limited activities unless it was a port day. Then there was plenty to do onboard.

Our room was immaculate, our steward was fantastic! The ship layout was incredible crowded. The Splendor Mexican ship was considered outdated - but there was so much room - this ship The Sunshine was just so crowded with wasted decor...not enough seating on deck, the eating areas were so crowded, the entertainment ways are limited to one lane so there was a lot of congestion.
