Review summary

This was my first cruise and I was not looking forward to the experience Mostly due to the fact that I do not do crowds well. Overall the experience was extremely pleasant and this was mostly due to the service received. We only had one bad experience at the Serenity bar by a bartender that was cold with no personality. Unfortunately I can not provide his name.

Embarkation

We had purchased "Faster to the Fun" expecting to receive priority acccess to the ship. We were directed to sit in a waiting area. Three different individuals from our group asked when we would board at different times. Each time we were told it would be soon. Many other groups were being called to board. Soon we asked a different individual who told us we should have already been on board. This was disappointing.

Dinning was a pleasure at all locations with the staff exceptional. The staff we were served by were Andrii and Giorgii in the formal dinning room. And I was impressed with an officer that I believe was Dennis in the food areas. He was very efficient and aware of all that going on. He made sure service and food was excellent and lines were reasonable.

Staff did an exceptional job. The food was excellent and they made it a very special event. Two members of our party were celebrating an anniversary.

Ship tip

Disembarkation was a mess. Again we were "Faster to the Fun". We were placed in the liquid lounge and then herded out to exit the ship. I was disappointed to see people arriving late and allowed to cut in ahead of others that had been waiting. Also recognized other passengers that were not Faster to thee Fun already off of the ship when we entered customs. Before you ask, they weren't physically challenged.
