We had a very relaxing vacation. Plenty to do on the ship. Great employees and food. We saw two physicians and received great care from the RN and physician.
Embarkation

We waited for over an hour trying to get into the parking deck. It appeared that only one employee was helpful in guiding vehicles into parking garage. When we encountered this employee, we were guided to the correct location. We’ve been on many cruises and never had this type of experience. Lots of walking and standing before getting on the ship. My elderly mother was out of breathe until we came to an area where she could sit down. The area is right before you board the ship. Things went smoothly once we were on board.

Service and Staff

Room was kept clean, room stewards were very friendly and helpful.
Ship Quality

Not enough seating on the lower deck pool where kids were allowed. People in the pool saved seats while in pool or bar areas. Many empty chairs with belongings on them.
My Mom fell on the ship in a doorway. In some doorways near the elevators, there are elevated metal strips. Some are higher than others. Once we rented a wheelchair, it was difficult to push a wheelchair over the elevated strips.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very comfortable. Had small refrigerator. Loved having a balcony view.
Ship tip
Take plenty of diapers, pull ups and wipes. We were told by guest services that the gift shop sold these. They didn’t have any, nor did the kids club. We thought we took too many pull ups. We made it off the ship with 3-4 diapers. Too close for comfort.
Process wasn’t good for an elderly person. Too much walking and standing. There needs to be seating along the pathway for elderly. We were told we couldn’t take the wheel chair we rented from the ship off the ship. After getting off the ship we saw Carnival employees pushing people in Carnivals wheelchairs. I don’t know if we were given wrong info.
