Review summary

The crew from Carnival did a great job. The weather sucked on the whole cruise. On Tuesday morning we hit a storm with over 100 knot winds that had the ship listing around 8-10 degrees and everyday we had rain and storms. Seas were very choppy. As big as the Sunshine is, she was bumping through the seas. Weather was the worst part of the cruise and I'd say second worse was the food, Farenheight 555 was NOT worth the money and Guy's Burgers was a disappointment as well.

Nice cabin, door to the balcony was kind of hard to close though.

Ship tip

Carnival has a great staff, rare to see any not with a smile on their faces.

I haven't been on Sunshine (we are going on the ship in August), but I have been on other Carnival ships with Guy's burgers. Honestly, they were the best cruise hamburgers I have ever had. Probably even topping Johnny Rocket's on RCCL (and on RCCL the burgers are not free). Guy's is amazing (and many others I have spoken with share that sentiment).

Sorry to hear that you had a rough cruise though. :( If you decide to cruise again, I hope your next experience is better.

Very exaggerated review!! Steakhouse is well worth the money AND anyone who does not like Guy's burgers is sick!!

I've been on the freedom in 12-14 foot seas, and winds were only about 60 knots

There is no way you had 100 knot winds (115 mph) and only 8-10 list. I had 40 across the bough one one and 15 ft seas on another at 40 knots. Typo?
