Review summary

This has been one of the worst cruises I have ever been on. It started from departure to the end. It took forever to get on and very unorganized in getting off. The food was just so so. I have had better. If it wasn't for the band Broken Headlights , we would have been really upset. The shows were the same as last Oct cruise. We did anytime dinning for the first time and would never do that again!  I think Carnival is just getting away from customer service.

Nothing to brag about. Seems to be getting cheaper and cheaper

Ship Quality

I just feel this ship is cut up. I always had a hard time in finding the dinning room. Cleanliness was great. Disco was a joke!

Nassau, Bahamas

Very dirty. Was very disappointed. Most shops close at 6. We thought they would be open later since our ship left at 10 pm.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

Even though not much to do it was cleaner and very friendly

Your welcome.

I see, thanks. Very interesting (I learn something new). I can certainly see a group needing to do this. Mostly, it's just my wife and , and having FTTF and tipping the receptionist, we don't wait long at all. Thanks again!

Dutch, the waiter's told us the time ticket actually helps then move service better. You go to Promenade near the Alchemy bar, there is a lady set up who takes down how many in your party, room# then gives you a ticket with a time on it to go downstairs to check in at the MDR. It can get crowded at popular dinner times but we went off times like 7-7:30 and we never had to wait. I think if you are traveling with a group who want seating together it could be more problematic.

I personally dislike Sunshine! my opinion! too crowded! hard to get into venues, due to space

Dutch...sunshine increased # of guest when renovated.. didn't increase public area..so small venues for # of guest..have to wait

Davidnlisa, what is the time ticket about? We've had ATD on a number of cruises and I've never heard of it (all Fantasy Class ships with one Conquest Class ship). Size of ship maybe?

ATD on Sunshine & Vista are done the same way witbmh having to go to one floor get a time ticket and then go to another floor for dinner.

It's funny how different people look at things differently. Once we went ATD, 6 cruises ago, we've never gone back to assigned dining. Love it. I like to board smoothly as well, but my wife and I have fun in line with each other and make the best of it. I remind my wife that regardless of how long it takes to get on the ship, we are eating dinner onboard and will be sleeping on that ship... About 7 cruises ago, we just decided that we won't let a longer boarding process influence or flavor the next 7 days... I understand getting off being a zoo- where people arrive at different times over 4-5 hours to embark, pretty much everyone want to disembark within the same 2 hour time... It's chaotic, just the nature of the beast. Glad you enjoyed the band. That's important to us as well. Hopefully your next cruise will seem better!
