Review summary

When getting a deal like Carnival gives, you get what you pay for, not much. Carnival will use any and every opportunity to nickel and dime you. Almost felt harassed by staff continuously trying to sell something. Food is ok, but nothing to write home about. Desserts are all but tasteless. If you go, just know what to expect and you can enjoy yourself in the ports of call. The best staff is the Housekeepers.

Ship tip

Make dinner reservation for early or late seating. If you choose My Time Dining, you wait in line until a table opens. You don't really get to pick a time.

I agree, I never have been to impressed with Carnival,but you get what you pay for and my Carnival Cruises were free. Carnival Cruise Lines are priced so families can afford it.

If some one is dissatisfied with their experience so be it! No need to bash them for their opinion. We took the sunshine last April and there were some nice things and some bad things. We did not care for the ship but still had a blast and the southern Caribbean was great. We just found we like the bigger ships better. Don't bash people because they don't like what you like.

Next time go pay a lot more and see what you get. Probably not much. Don't know what you expected, it's not the Ritz-Carlton.

Eight cruises and we still can't get enough of carnival. The staff,shows,and cruise directors are all great. The food has good variety and are great tasting. If you need to complain tell it to all the other negative individuals.

Lol. It's their job to sell. If you tell them no thanks they usually just go to the next person. I found the desserts better on carvinal than RCCL. Lol, better than I bake! 😆😆😆
