Review summary

Everything was awesome in Carnival Sunshine! The food was so good. The crew was so kind I even love talking to them. Melissa was one of the crew that I loved talking to in the restaurant. My kids had a lot of fun in the Camp Carnival and the Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast, it was awesome, too. The Punchliner was my favorite, but too short. I will never forget this vacation.

dmp3js..... San Juan, if you like piña coladas go to Barrachina, it's the birthplace of the piña colada. We go there just so we can have one. Also tour fort Del Morro. You will see it as you're pulling into port. Just walking around town is an experience. So much to see. Everything I mentioned is in walking distance from the dock. If you want cheap liquor, there's a liquor store right at the dock.

dmp3js.... St Maartin we went to Maho Beach by cab. That's where the airport is right next to the beach and the planes fly really really low over the beach to land. I shot the greatest video of a jumbo jet heading right toward me and right over me. AWESOME!!!

dmp3js....St Thomas we did the sky ride to Paradise Point. The view is stunning up there. We went to Magic Ice ice bar twice. I did para sailing twice. We also did the champagne catamaran ride to St. John.

Grand Turk, we did the dune buggies 2X, the helicopter ride once & after each thing we go 500 yards to the left of the pier down the beach to Jack's Shack. BEST jerk chicken and cracked conch. Much cheaper than the Margaritaville. The beach is much nicer down there. The owners, Jack and Janet are great and have a dog named Topher who loves to dig in the sand and walk on hind legs looking for fish.

dmp3js , this will be my 3rd cruise and 1st time on sunshine. I haven't been to Grand turk or st Martin. But have been to San Juan and St Thomas. Take a tour of old San Juan. It's beautiful! St Thomas is the island that you get all the best shopping deals on gold, silver, and diamond jewelry. Enjoy your cruise. I will also be on the same cruise. 😆

The carnival sunshine will be my first cruise. We set sail on August 25. After reading plenty of reviews I'm happy I'm "the glass is always half full" kind of person. Thank you to all the positive people commenting. I'm looking forward to this much needed vacation. If anyone can recommend a "must do" for Turks & Caicos, St. Thomas, St. Martin, or San Juan that would be great.

I am 49 and did the Dr. Seuss breakfast in March. I was like a kid again. I got all their "autographs" and had pictures taken with them. We are doing it again next year with our then 5,3,1 year old grandkids.

What is the age range of your children? My 6 &7 yr old were not interested in the Dr. Seuss breakfast but 17yr old is. Lol Go figure.
