Review summary

Great Ports, great food and food service, really great comedy (especially Diane Ford), and great shows.

We had some problems with the room, they moved us to a lesser priced room for

which we were unhappy about but they finally gave us some credit on our account for it after 4 days of complaining. Meanwhile our first shore tour was cancelled and they said they notified us with a note under our old cabin door(we had steward open it..no note!)...ever try to get back on a ship when 2000 plus people are trying to get off? The subsequent tours were great, the 10% discount on a rebooked tour for our inconvenience was a joke.

Luckily our Anniversary was on the 6th day and by then we were really enjoying everything.

Danjella and her team took great care of us in the dining room! Had to complain for 3 days regarding room before we got a credit and a few drinks. Andrew in Customer Service tried really hard for us, but it was finally the manager that gave us satisfactory restitution.

Steam pipes underneath caused random loud banging noises that woke us 3am 6am 7am 8am etc just as you went to back to sleep they would start again. After many complaints they moved us to 1624 back of the ship loud rumble and noises but at least constant except when ship was backing up out of port, which were very loud blowers, had to turn TV up very loud all the time unless docked to hear anything from it. Holes in walls, shower curtain didn't even fit across shower and was too high(water drained out everywhere. Furniture was missing(had to complain 3 times to get the shower curtain replaced and the furniture put back in the room

From the comments section about the cabin it looks like they had problems with both rooms imo. Read under the category ratings & they tell what happened with their rooms. Mainly noise in the first one but the 2nd one hardly sounded much better to me. We're going on a 10 day cruise on the Sunshine in May & I hope our room is what we expect it to be. We don't have the cabin number yet but we did choose a balcony because we didn't want to be way down on the bottom decks.
