Review summary
Our trip on the Sunshine was enjoyable and relaxing, even though the weather wasn't the most cooperative. We have to commend the embarkation staff for the prompt way they process nearly 3000 people prior to sailing. The process is seamless, very easy. The meals in the dining room (we chose 'your time' dining option) were well-prepared and presented, and the dining room staff was friendly, fun, and efficient. We always enjoy the interaction with the crew members, many of whom take time to talk and answer questions. The ship is clean and well maintained. Our cabin was clean and well stocked each day by our steward, who promptly cared for our requests as needed. We had a meal in the Cucina Capitano restaurant one evening, a first for us. We had never tried one of the upcharge venues and this was a real treat. The cuisine was inventive and delicious; the service, unhurried.
If you want a lite bite, try the Cuban cuisine in the Havana Bar. Cuban sandwiches and other fare, really delicious. The Guy Fieri burgers are awesome and we saw lots of people enjoying them along with the tacos at Blue Iguana on deck. We really liked the Movie theater at night, and we saw a couple of first run movies on nights when the weather cooperated. Lots of fun.
Enjoyed the large Serenity deck, which still gets crowded on nice days. Be careful of the step into the hot tub. It's about 18" and hard to navigate.
The trip to the Bahamas was nice, although we did not get to go to Half Moon Cay due to the weather and poor tender conditions. It seems a lot of people take this cruise, as we did, for the Half Moon day at the beach, which is fantastic. It was disappointing that we could not go this time, but we understood the safety issues and the cruise directore, Jaime, and her team made the day fun with improvised activities.

Ship tip
Don't miss the Guy Fieri burgers and Blue Iguana for a change-of-pace meal. If you want to avoid the crowds at breakfast, try the dining room. Seems like most people head for the Lido. Be careful about purchasing alcohol. TSA will confiscate anything over 150 proof, calling it 'lighter fluid'.
