Review summary

Spent 8 days on Carnival Sunshine and had a fantastic time. Cannot fault anything, the food was 5 Star, entertainment, first class and the whole ship was extremely clean.

Cannot praise the staff highly enough, from our cabin steward to Jamie the Cruise Director, everyone was brilliant.

We had a ball!

Room had everything we needed, cabin steward kept our cabin immaculately. We never seemed to get any sun on our balcony but we had some lovely sunsets.

We got a taxi to Mullet Bay, which was FAR better than Maho beach. Cost $8pp and about a 30 minute drive. Well worth it.

We used Big Banana Safari Tours -- paid $20pp and it included Rum and Water refreshments. A great way to see the island very cheaply. You can see them once through the port. Much cheaper than Carnival tour.

I like your comment very much I'm reading up on some an of course you can't please everyone someone always complains my last cruise my husband an I loved it was the breeze an now we are doing a big family vacation/ honeymoon anniversary all wrapped in one unfortunately we weren't able to take our honeymoon last year money was tight so we are looking forward to this.

Jealous, wish we still had it to look forward to. Could get addicted to cruises after this one.

Our only criticism was the ship wasn't easy to get around, on some of the floors you couldn't walk from the front to back of ship without going up or down a flight of stairs - very confusing for a few days.

Serenity level is fabulous and some of the lifts take you to Floor 14 from the front of the ship. Enjoy
