Review summary

This was my 1st solo cruise and 1sr post Covid cruise.

Embarkation

Fantastic. I had a 10:00-10:30 boarding and was practically met at the terminal doors and escorted through embarkation. I don’t know if this was due to being a solo wheelchair-bound cruiser, but it was the easiest embarkation I’ve ever experienced…even with Faster to the Fun.

I had anytime dining and it was Excellent I did no specialty dining on this leg of Back2Back The buffet was good each time I tried it Beware the Deli. It needs a serious overhaul. Each time I tried it (4 times throughout the two cruises), the hot sandwiches were cold (Rueben and pastrami) and the cold sandwiches were warm or room temperature.

Onboard Activities

Aft pool and Serenity Whirlpool were both wheelchair accessible and enjoyed relaxing in them. There were plenty of trivia contests and enjoyed participating. Rrrrico was an entertaining cruise director.

Did Dolphin Encounter with Lunch at Blue Lagoon. Had to change from dolphin stingray and Sea Lion due to other encounters being inaccessible…even though calls and inquiries were made specifically about accessibility (sometimes weekly for 2 - 3 months before going(
