Average ship- Great staff. ok for short get away but would not have had a good trip if longer than four days

Port of Miami staff are horribly rude. SCREAMING at you to move forward when there is no where to go. Not ask to wear mask until front of line and then told to get out of line and find a mask. Where - back in Tampa? I understood we should have know but they were of NO assistance. Another passenger gave us masks. Carnival staff were helpful and pleasant. Maybe they could have had someone outside to assist passengers with the RUDE port staff and offer masks if necessary

Guys burgers and bbq and blue iguana always good. Lido buffet ok. Main dining room pretty good. Bar service is horribly understaffed probably to avoid serving on the cheers package. It's sad for the bar staff as they try as hard as they can. Stict 1 oz pours and long lines certainly keep you sober unless you are stupid rude or extremely persistentant.
Package is not valid on their private island.
Onboard Activities

Lots of trivia and bingo. Broadway type entertainment had some talented people. Main pool was green and not because of St Patty's dye. Back pool was fine but full of kids. No adult pool on board as kids everywhere except for Serenity hot tub

Everyone tries really hard and are pleasant. Bar staff simply can not handle the load even on the private island when you had to pay for drinks

Normal size balcony cabin. Great location. Disappointed "upgraded spa toiletries" were wall dispensed shower gel and shampoo. Sucked that I didn't bring conditioner and body lotion. Spa staff suggested I buy some
Ship tip
Nice for a get away. Passengers were rather ill-mannered and selfish
Got hair braided, walked the straw market and took a cab to fishfry. Lots of construction in progress. Disappointed the horse drawn carriages had to leave because of construction.
Had to wait inline at guest services to understand why 3 out of 4 showed individual totals and then the fourth was the combined total without reference to the other 3 - WTH? Had breakfast in the dining room and let those people in a pushing rush to get off the ship.
That main pool was disgusting, and like you stated lots of kids in the aft pool and all the hot tubs (except serenity). People were extremely rude, especially cutting in while waiting for your turn to order a drink, or rudely grabbing stuff off the buffet and not saying excuse me or do you mind. We’ll definitely not cruise during spring break on a shorter cheaper cruise.
