Carnival didn’t live up to all the reasons we fell in love with cruising. But, it was still fun and a good time. After 2 year’s of not doing anything except trying to survive this pandemic, it was still a privilege and honor to be one of the people who could go on a cruise. We never walked around in a bad mood or let things get in the way of a good time. This is just my opinion and my take on the sunrise. I will cruise carnival again, probably just a different ship.
Embarkation

VeriFLY was to save time, however we still had to provide hard copies of everything. Cool, we did just took a little longer than necessary if they would just let VeriFLY do the work for them
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Menu has been decreased. Many good old options are now gone. Taste and quality of food in the main dining room has plummeted.
Onboard Activities

Pools were so crowded it was hard to find any chairs and space. We were cruising with 95%.
I didn’t do the slide or ropes. Not many other activities to do on this ship
Entertainment

Shows were a group of singers sitting in chairs and taking turns standing up to sing. 1-2 performance they all sang together. Your typical karaoke group singer’s. The singer at the atrium bar rocked it out the best.
The last night a rock group drove out the audience 1 after another .

The waiters were top notch… no matter where we went who we had they were phenomenal.
Our room steward was professional and kind however, things have changed in carnival we didn’t see him hardly.. no extra of anything that makes you feel special. We had a suite and It didn’t really matter. Save your money…
Ship Quality

Cleaning has went way down..
There was 6-7 dirty cups in deck 7 on the first day. Last day they were still there.
Food on floors everywhere. Gross dirty towels laying in hallways all around. Not carnival I fell in Love with.
Cabin / Stateroom

Room was very comfortable good size.
Balcony was very dirty
Absolutely quick and easy face recognition saves so much time… but, it would have been nice if they would have told you we don’t call numbers that’s just for show. Just go get off the ship
