Review summary

Your cruise is what you make it, even though it was lacking in some areas, we always have a great time when we cruise with our friends.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We booked a suite, and were first ones to board

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We’ve cruised Carnival many times, and feel the food on this ship was lacking. Buffet was small and also lacking. Guys Burgers and Pig and Anchor were amazing as always

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We did the water slides, which are always fun, watch out for those stairs going up, they can get very hot on your feet. We went and got our pool chairs a little early, and seen others claim chairs and not return for hours.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We went to 2 comedy shows, very funny guys. Limelight Lounge can be a little difficult to find

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our room steward was Stephanaus, and he did a great job!! Bar service is very slow, and people were cutting in when it’s clearly not their turn. Not much waiter service upper pool deck area, and when there was it would take 30-40 minutes for them to return, with a melted frozen drink.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was clean, but the design of the aft area, decks 3&4 is very chopped up and confused the older people with us( which isn’t hard😆) but was confusing

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
No complaints about our cabin, convenient to forward elevators, USB ports on nightstands, outlet above dresser and more in the changing area, plenty of storage, nice big balcony with 2 chairs, a small table, and lounge chair. It did smell like someone was smoking weed out there often

Ship tip

Don’t go around Spring Break, people are rude, noisy, and don’t watch their children.

Ports of call

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
This beach never fails us, although the water temperature was quite chilly, we had an amazing day. We always rent a cabana, which gives us a home base to store our things. Lunch served on the island was ehh, had a very hard dried out burger, potato salad was good, and I didn’t get any of the dessert.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and easy. We hung around for as long as we could since our flight was later in the day. We sat up by the Alchemy bar, after breakfast in the dining room.
