Review summary

Cruise was nice, debarkation was terrible. Debarkation was bad enough that I may never want to cruise Carnival again.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation was quick and easy.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was good, but it has definitely gone downhill over the past few years. Fahrenheit 555 food was bland and a waste of money.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pools were too crowded. Serenity had no room.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Comedy shows were great.

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff is always great, but you could see how worn down they are.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Getting to the Limelight theater is terrible. Main dining rooms are difficult to enter.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
When beds are joined together something should tie legs together so they do not move apart in the night.

Ship tip

The remodeling is visually appealing, but makes it difficult to reach certain areas.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida Did not visit port

Went from airport to port

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

4 out of 5
Too crowded.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Five cruise ships in port is too many.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
The worst I have ever experienced. Subjected to an hour in lines, a rude supervisor who intentionally delayed process, and a security guard who threatened to arrest us if we didn't show our passports to go to the parking garage - really a security guard impersonating a police officer and requiring photo id to go to the parking garage after clearing customs?

After 63 cruises with carnival I think we have seen all and heard all . But the part of the security guard. They do think they are police officers. Actually most all of them are from India and have NO experience with people and should stay with trying to make snakes do what they want as they do in India . I will admit after many cruises that carnival has gotten so big that they do not care any more about guests. It has been that way for a while now .
