SOME RESIDENT'S WERE SMOKIING WEED, IN THE HALL WAY, ON THE SHIP DECK, WITH NO SHAME IN THEIR GAME. CHILDRING RUNNING UP AND DOWN THE HALLWAY , PEOPLE GATHERING IN THE HALLWAYS, TALKING LOUD, SHOUTING.

SOME OF THE FISH WAS NOT COOKED FULLY, NOR WAS THE LEG OF LAMB IT WAS TO BLOODY, AND I MENTION IT TO FOOD SUPERVISOR, AND TO THE PERSON CARVING THE MEAT OR SERVING THE FISH, IT FELL ON DEAF EAR OF COURSE.

MY BATHROOM PIPES BURST ON THE 2ND DAY, AND A PLUMBER CAME TO FIX IT I THOUGHT, AND THEN THE TOILET WOULD NOT FLUSH, CALLED GUEST SERVICES, NO ANSWER SO MY HUSBAND WENT TO GUEST SERVICES AND THEY ASSURED US THAT IT WOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF IN THE MEAN TIME WE HAD TO USE OUR SON INLAW'S BATHROOM, AFTER MANY HOURS HAD PAST WAITING ON SOMEONE TO FIX THE TOILET AGAIN. THEN THE TOILET PIPES BURST AGAIN, SO WE ASKED FOR A NEW ROOM AND WAS TOLD THAT NONE WAS AVAILBLE. SO WE WENT AND WATCHED A MOVIE TO PUT OUR MIND OVER MATTER. THE PLUMBER DID COME AND FIX THE PROBLEM AGAIN, HOWEVER AFTERWARDS, THERE WAS NO WATER PRESURE SO WE HAD TO GO BACK TO GUEST SERVICES FOR ASSISTANCE AGAIN IN WICH WAS THE 4TH TIME TO SAY THE LEAST WE WERE SO ANGRY, FRUSTRATED, DISAPPOINTED AND EMBARASSED TO KEEP BOTHERING FAMILY MEMBERS TO USE THEIR BATHROOM. AFTER ALL WE HAD 16 FAMILY MEMBERS TRAVELING WITH US TO CELABRATE MY WEDDING ANIVERSARY, AND MY MIRICLE GRANDSON'S 1ST BIRTHDAY. WE WENT TO GUEST SERVICES BECAUSE OUR KEY WOULD NOT OPEN THE DOOR , SO THEY GAVE US A NEW KEY THAT STILL DIDN'T WORK. SO MY HUSBAND ASKED GUEST SERVICE TI TO COME AND USE THE KEY FOR HERSELF AND SHHE DID AND IT STILL DID N'T WORK SO SHE HAD TO CALL A LOCK SMITH AND HE WAS ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM AND GIVE USA NEW KEY. I WENT TO THE GIFT SHOP TO BUY SOME SOUVINIRS FOR FRIENDS ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT MY CARD DID N'T WORK AND THAT I HAD TO GO TO GUEST SERVICE TO SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS , AND WE DID , BUT GUEST SERVICE'S TOLD US THAT WE HAD MONEY UP THERE AND THAT IT SHOULD N'T HAVE BEEN NO PROBLEM AT ALL TO USE THE KEY, I JUST SAID THE HELL WITH IT.
THE GENTLEMAN THAT CLEANED OUR CABIN WAS VERY POLITE, AND KEPT THE ROOM NICE AND TIDY. TH
TOO MUCH MONEY TO PARK YOUR CAR, LONG LINES.
POOR ORGAINIZATION WITH THE BUSES, AND WE DIDN'T LEAVE NORFOLK UNTIL THAT NIGHT, AND WE SHOULD HAVE LEFT EARLIER THAT DAY AT 3:00 PM THAT DAY. ONCE WE GOT OFF THE BOAT WE HAD TO STAD IN MORE LINES, IN THE RAIN.
You can’t complain about the children’s program. It states specific age groups beginning at the age of 2. It is on all their pages on the website. You brought a child under that age therefore that child is the parents responsibility the entirety of the cruise. If they make the exception of your 1 year old grandchild they need to make it for all 1 year olds, and if they make it for 1 year olds why not 6 month olds? There are rules set in place for a reason.
Do not let this negative review keep you from booking the Sunrise!!!!! Read all the reviews of this ship and you will see that most of them are very positive!!!! Love Carnival 👍👍
I was on The Sunrise in August and we had no problems at all. We loved it and everything was perfect. The only negative is the smoking in the casino. Sorry you went through that hell. Don't judge all Carnival for one bad experience.
