Review summary

Overall I enjoyed the cruise. Our room was clean, the staff was helpful and friendly. My only problem were the caliber of guests. I think Carnival needs to have a curfew for the teenagers on board. They were roaming around all night and disrupted me as well as my family on several occasions. They need to have structure even on their vacation.

The main dining area was great. Our server Gede (Mr. G), Imade and Wira were phenomenal. They were so hospitable, sweet and attentive.

Onboard Activities

I enjoyed the Red Frog Pub for playing trivia games. Majority of time I was sun bathing on the upper deck so I didn’t use the pool. My mother would exercise in the gym and it was very clean and had several machines. Only if the elliptical machines was not in service.

Entertainment

DJ Xtreme was great and the staff was amazing. I liked the dancers and the fun squad was great. Ocean was super sweet as well as Pablo, Jason and Shauna.

Service and Staff

Imade who was our room steward on the second floor was very personable and attentive. Gede, Imade and Wira who took care of us in the Sunshine Dining room were fantastic. Jordan from Philippines on the lido deck was the sweetest and funniest person I met on the ship. Late at night my mother and I would sit near the pool and talk. Jordan would come by and always say hello and check on us to see if we needed anything. I don’t drink milk or dairy products. Francis and Santiago would get me my almond milk pretty frequently throughout the trip. They would ask me where I am sitting and personally bring it to me. Richard and Ricardo were very helpful as well, if I wanted Almond milk or a mimosa by the pool. Gregorio in the jewelry department was such a nice man. I didn’t even purchase jewelry and he still would greet me and my mother. He gave us a hug and wished us a safe trip back home. He always looked so sharp and was a true gentleman. Irfan from the Blue Iguana was always smiling and we would always ask me about my day. Apple the hostess was very helpful and always made sure we had a great dining experience. Lastly Christina, the bathroom attendant on 5th floor of the casino was a very cool, nice girl.

Ship Quality

My main issue would be the casino on the 5th floor. All that smoke when you exit the elevator is too much. The elevators also are very slow. I realize the volume of the guests but I often would take the stairs, it was way faster than waiting for the elevator. A lot of machines rate out of service on the boat. From the elliptical to the ice cream machine.

We had three guests and we each had a twin bed. My bed was the couch that transformed into a twin size bed. The bed had two separate mattresses, so when I woke up my back would hurt.
