Overall, we had a really great time. We are a lot, we played a lot, we were never bored. The staff and crew were amazing. We got to know the cruise director without even trying. Everyone made us feel known and appreciated. The ports were disappointing. Our time was limited and we couldn't really just experience the islands and their cultures on our own. It was too touristy for my like. This may be by design or it may be an expectation that we have to do the paid excursions, but I enjoy just seeing the island without the pushy salesman feel.
Once back on the boat it was back to the fun and games. The "movie theater" was awesome at night. The food was amazing. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We pigged out!! Never a shortage of food. The restaurants were great, but there were more pay restaurants than I expected. Still, I have no complaints.
Onboard Activities

Sooo much to do!!
Children's Programs

Both of the children (ages 5 and 12) enjoyed. My 5 year old cried because he couldn't see his camp friends when we left.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
No complaints with any staff expect the Pixels crew. The photographers weren't great, but weren't bad. The Pixels desk folks could be a bit short with people, but not all guests were pleasant to them. Everyone else was amazing!!
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
I was really worried after reading reviews of others. The ship was impeccable. Beautiful. My cabin did have a broken cabinet door, but it closed and latched so it didnt bother me. I dont like that I had to walk through the casino for so many things. It was annoying dodging the smokers, but if you dont mind smoke it probably won't bother you.
Cabin / Stateroom

No real complaints. We had a broken cabinet, but it closed and latched so it wasn't a big deal. The room stewart was awesome. Room was spacious for a cabin for 4. Everyone was comfortable. Wish the rooms had irons.
Ship tip
There are only like 4 irons on the entire ship. If you are someone who irons your clothes, plan to work around that. I ironed the day BEFORE elegant nights. I also suggest bringing non-wrinkle clothes or ironing at home. I am not sure if a handheld steamer is allowed, but it's something to consider.
Also, we brought a bunch of drinks and snacks for the kids and barely touched them.
We were not impressed. There wasn't enough time to do much. We ended up at Senor Frogs. It was fun, but we didnt really get to explore PR. You've gotta buy an excursion to really do anything other than shop.
We just hung out at the beach. We played in the ocean and built sand castles. Many of the shade stations were broken so we had to get creative to find some shade. It was super hot so we didn't stay too long.
Slept late so we didn't have a lot of time. We walked and shopped. And took pictures. Overall, I wasn't very impressed with the ports. Our time was limited at all ports.
Only complaint is I had to carry the bags out and there were no carts. However, that just means I need to pack lighter next time. Disembarkation was quick and easy.
CruisinCallie, thanks for that info. I've been to PR before and stayed on the island for a week. I had a blast!!! Best Spring break ever. I will be better prepared for how to navigate the island from a Carnival cruise next time. Again, thanks for your info.
I use Downey wrinkle release. It works wonders. Never need to iron. PR is amazing. Bummer u didn't have time to explore. We walked up the coast do the national park all the way up to the forts walked around them went down to the governor's Street and saw The Umbrellas and then did some great shopping from local artisans in the park
