Overall, the weather was wonderful, staff was wonderful, food was good, company was good and I'd go again, as long as I had an upgraded cabin.
Embarkation
1 out of 5
Embarkation was HORRIBLE in Norfolk, Va. It took 2 and a half hours from the time my luggage was taken to step foot on the ship, just standing in line.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Dining anywhere I ate was wonderful. Food was better than I expected and always available.

Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Layout and design was okay but upon boarding and not knowing where you're going, there are no maps or anyone to advise you where to head. Common areas were very well kept.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Size of the living space with the beds was ok, bathroom was very small and I feel the appointments were cheaply done. Also there was no outlet in the bathroom for hairdrying so this had to be done in front of your cabinmate who might be watching TV and be unable to hear. Cleanliness of the room was quite good.
Ship tip
I'd advise them to get a room with a balcony. I feel those rooms must have nicer bathrooms and it'd be easier to see things instead of from the bleary window I had.
This was embarkation port. It took 2 and half hours to get from the car, luggage loaded and step foot on the ship. Ship did not leave port on time due to the confusion in loading.
The port was wonderful and beautiful. However, the ship only remained there about 7 hours which made everything tight if you had an excursion planned. I did do a snorkeling excursion and the location was wonderful. But the equipment was below par and no instructions were given to my group and everyone had not snorkeled before.
Had to be ferried from the ship to the island and my husband has bad knees and I didn't want to put the extra burden on him of having to ride a boat to the island.
It took a long time standing in line to disembark, then we had to go find our luggage in a warehouse (2 huge ones and one large). We were already carrying carry-ons so having to find the 3 suitcases and wheel them ourselves outside and then having to wait for a bus, which had to load our suitcases and drive 2 miles to where long term parking for the cruise was.
