Review summary

This cruise was very relaxing. I loved our room staff and dinning team the best. Rudolph, Ozehan, IMade, IGede, and Laarni were wonderful. I hope people are lucky enough to have them. A tip would be to do your research before the cruise. Learn about 'secret activities' or learn the layout of the cruise ship. People upload YouTube videos about each of the Carnival Boats which are extremely helpful and very informative. I recommend downloading the Carnival app to keep track of activities, view menus, text, and keep up with ship time (since this cruise kept changing times). Every cruise is how you make it- however, the fun team, and staff make each cruise relaxing, memorable, and leaves you wanting another cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Ozehan/iMade/Igede- made every dinner one to remember. All of them remembered our names and made us feel like family. They were an excellent team. Laarni made sure that my family had our same team for dinner and breakfast. She even held a table for us since we were running late, without even asking! The food was delicious and everyone was extremely friendly.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Relaxing- we competed in some trivia. Wish there was more trivia and the 'fun team' was not as memorable as past cruises. One extremely fun activity my family did was 'behind the scenes in the Chef's kitchen' we got to watch how the chefs made unique dishes and we were able to try all of them. I recommend this to everyone and make sure you get there early since it fills up quick.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The performances were amazing! The shows were entertaining and we enjoyed all the music.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Rudolph and his team were the absolute best. Our room was always cleaned, plenty of towels, and accommodated all of our needs. I love his business card and the team always greeted us by name. 10/10 for Rudolph and his team. Everyone was extremely friendly. Greeted by name and smiled as we passed by, even if they did not know us.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
It was a little dated but the crew was always cleaning and sanitizing. Everything felt clean.

Get to know your waiters/ waitresses. They will make your dinning experiences wonderful.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

5 out of 5
very easy to get in and out of the port. Very organized and structured.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

2 out of 5
Seemed that there was not a lot to do on this port. Also, we watched the merchandise buy from Walmart and then sell to the tourists. (tip- by any souvenir from Walmart - cheaper)
