Review summary

Asked for "carnival's fun guarantee" to get off ship. Was told by the officer I spoke with to go to airport an hour and half away and buy a ticket. Tche whole cruise was a rip off. Food was horrible, "American Table" menu was so boring I would have rather had frozen dinners. Service in mdr was very slow. Had to get my own drinks from bar. Carnival should have let us rebook. All 4 ports changed. The cruise was booked for itenerary only.

Ship Quality

Hideous pink donuts on the walls. the decorative "art" on all the walls in the guest cabin walls made no sense and was not appealing. Colors depressing. Had to walk thru/by the casino to go from front to back. Felt like I smoked a pack of cigarettes each time I walked by.

Cabin / Stateroom

Took 3 days to get bed from splitting down the middle. The sofa cusions were very stained. Large split in seat cushion on sofa. Was told there were no more. 1/2 inch of dust on ledge of mirror. Mirrors in closets were dirty

Ship tip

Don't book on Carnival. If you must, dont book this ship

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

extremely small beach. but the coral and fish were very beautiful. Dont think because Carnival owns island, that your drink pkg will work here. Long lines for food

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

omg, the pkg we bought for Margaretaville was a joke. 1 block of beach, with locals and police sneaking around a fence. Yes, the water was blue but there were no fish or sealife, coral. The person that seated us tried to sell us pot. 20.dollar drinks.

George Town, Grand Cayman
