Overall we had a great vacation! Service was good but we weren't impressed with the look and poor design on the ship itself. Food and drinks were good. Entertainment was decent. The cruise director was ok.
Embarkation

This was the weirdest embarkation experience we've had in any cruise. It didn't take too long to get through the line and security however we were directed to another line because I'm Canadian and my husband is American and I guess they needed to double check my documents. Ones we got to the desk there were two ladies who didnt even greet us and continued to sign us in while carrying on a personal conversation amongst themselves. Meanwhile, the lady at the desk just held the camera up to snap our pics without warning and gave us back our documents. This was the least amount of interaction we've ever had during this process. We didn't really care however just thought it was strange and unprofessional.

Food and Dining

The main dining room was nice, very detailed (excessively). The layout was nice with multi levels which I like. We did get ocean view seating a few times with our preferred server, which was great! The food was good, not excellent but good. The wine list was just ok as they didn't offer many single glass options for purchase however I think the wine was decently priced for being on a ship. Overall we had no complaints with our dining room experience.
Onboard Activities

The pool was small. They have one nice waterslide however there were a couple days that the pool was closed. The layout of the pool deck was very strange. There are not many pool chairs near the pool and when you are up on top deck you can't lean over and see below because there's a cute cover and track that covers the pool in case of rain that gets in the way. Also i couldn't locate a bathroom up on top deck.
Entertainment

The DJ was pretty good. It didn't seem like there was much entertainment staff on this ship however. We did like the comedy shows. At one point the DJ was done playing at the pool and a solo singer came out to sing which I've never seen done on any ship. In my opinion the singers don't really fit the pool deck scene.

Our server Leslie in the dining room was great! He was really attentive, nice, and funny! We requested him every night. Our room steward was pretty good. One thing that was strange was on the first day the steward asked if we would like morning or evening cleaning, we are use to both but we just answered evening. Later in the week we called and mentioned we would like both morning and evening and he said he asked if we wanted morning, evening or both but he did not.
Ship Quality

This ship is so outdated. There is pink circles printed with zebra print everywhere inside the ship and on tables in lounges. Also logs of copper, it's a very old fashioned design. The pool deck is sea foam green, pink, and purple. It's just a very old looking ship. The hallways to staterooms are interested though, there are pictures of old fashion (50's) cartoon type people/characters.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very standard. No complaints. There were a couple portraits hanging in the room which was nice and interesting to see inside the room.
Ship tip
If the design of ships don't bother you and you really only care about itinerary you will enjoy the trip overall. I think this ship is just old and needs a major update. Other than that we had a great time and service was decent.
We rented a golf cart and toured around the island. Really not much to see here. We went to a local bar on the beach at the port. Would rather give my money to locals rather than margaritavile. Also drinks are extreamly expensive at margaritaville at the port.
