This is the second time I booked a vacation for my birthday with carnival and didn't get anything for my birthday nor hit any money in the casino.

The staff was amazing Mr. IWayan was awesome. IWayan had giving me a surprise in my room for my birthday and Marlon & Lousie had sing happy birthday to me at dinner time.

My husbands birthday will be on our cruise. I wasn't expecting he would get anything other than an embarrassing birthday song at dinner. If he got something extra that would be fantastic! Anyone else have tips on how to do that?

Not sure but did you tell them that you would be celebrating your birthday? Last year we where on Carnival Sunshine, when I booked it I was asked if we where celebrating any special occasion. My little had just turned 10 a few days before the cruise. I told them that we would be celebrating her birthday! They left a dinner for 2 at one of their specialty restaurants and on Captains night they brought her a small bday cake and sang Happy Birthday!

I've been in 2 for my birthday. They left me a spa gift card, and danced on the dinner tables for me. The piano bar played happy birthday for me, the head comedian sang Happy birthday to me. Too much fun!

You know that if all the cruise lines gave everyone traveling for their birthday (a very large number) $50, they would lose a ton of money. They probably have 50 people per cruise ask for money, and they are probably tired of it by now. Happy birthday
