Review summary

The cruise to the Western Caribbean ports were awesome. The Splendor was not. The food need work. Every night its the same thing. They try to be to fancy and miss the mark. Breakfast was great but the eggs be too watery. There was also sewer water smell throughout the boat. That was unpleasant .

Cabin was great but the glass to see the ocean need work. Also I guess depending on the persons height, the railing blocks a lot of the view. Consider cushions for the chairs to add height.

Ship tip

Make t best of your port stops. Eat differently while there because you want get that onboard.

we have been during a hurricane on the Legend and Carnival did a excellent job to make us safe and keep us happy, I've been on the Splendor before so I'm going to chose to have positive thoughts, most ports have poor areas, even Hawaii has sad low income areas,, as for the sewer smell I've smelled that on other ships tooð¬ it's not pleasant but it happens. As far as staff well you get bad apples here and there that's why we pay our gratuities at the end of cruise, we've been on a cruise when some had a heart attack had to have coast guard helicopter lift off ship while we were at sea which changed our itinerary but we all understood and we empathic to the situation, so things happen and you should be prepared. Be we all can try to make the best of it. Have a great vacation and Happy cruise.ð

I was on Splendor last July. Yes, you do smell sewage a little here and or there, but it is the best carnival ship I have been on thus far. She has a lot to offer!

My hubby and I have gone on 2 other carnival ships; Liberty and Triumph which were so fun. No trip is perfect and we're going in determined to have fun -with 4 ports how can we not?! ð

Omg I've been hearing so many bad reviews about Splendor. It will be my 4th time cruising with Carnival but 1st time on Splendor. I hope everything that has been said be fixed by September 2017ð³
