Review summary

i gave it a 2 star only because I loved the ports. The ship was full of unruly children and parents! I will stick to RCC or another line to have an enjoyable vacation.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was ok in the dining room. Buffet was always too long of a line at anytime of the day to try much.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Illusionist Borgia was very good. Comedians were good except for one.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Waitstaff was very good except on two nights they seemed to get lost somewhere.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Always makes the room to have a balcony. Otherwise a typical cabin. Too much noise from Ilido deck kitchen area.

Ship tip

If you go on vacation to mix and mingle with "large" groups of rude, inruly(and I like to party) people with kids running over you and up and down the halls all night then it's just your type of place, otherwise stay away! Upon talking with another couple it seems these are the new Carnival cruisers

Nephew, she also punch and s thatched my older boy on his side. My mom had to yell at this little girl to get her attention and tell her to stop. She also told a carnival security but they did nothing. I was pissed and shocked! I would've thought they would find this girls parents and say something but NOPE not a word!!!'

Im glad somebody said something about parents lack of supervision with their kids. We took a total of 3 kids my sons 10 and 6 as well as my nephew who is also 6. They were always supervised and were taken to camp when they asked. But I must say some parents just do y give a care. My parents were watching our kids at that pool and this little unsupervised girl started hitting my younger son and

Have been on this ship 3 times a few years ago. Carvinal does a good job keeping the children busy. Only saw too many 1st day and last day. But you can go to the adult area and enjoy peace and quiet....... But true, if you don't want to see children book a RCCL cruise when school is in. I'm off to the Bahamas, Dec 9 on Anthem.

I must agree. Although I love Carnival I was on this very ship July 30, 2016 & I've never seen so many children unsupervised. It was irritating!

Holland America for you. Carnival is an average family cruise line. Only Disney caters to kids more than carnival. It's for families. It has water slides and an arcade. Parents relax and let the kids go. How about the ship, service, food. How many days. Maybe book a longer cruise to lessen the amount kids.

There are always going to be more kids when school is out.

I don't understand why people are complaining that there are children on the ship. Carnival is known to be a family ship. If you did not want to be around children than you should have booked one of the older generation cruises that not a lot of children go on like Royal Caribbean or Norwegian. I understand that the children should act with respect.

One cruise again ?mmmm

If there's any way to book while schools are in session, that reducrs the child factor. Also consider an Alaskan cruise.

That's the trouble with bringing your kids, parents just let them run helter skelter for 5or6 days, it's suppose to be a relaxing time not a big baby sitter!
