Review summary

Crew and food was wonderful. Gift baskets were nice as was dining in Pinnacle Steakhouse. Our outside window room seemed spacious and the ship was one of the nicest, if not nicest, Carnival ship we've been on. Only wish ship provided transportation from ship to where you pick up your excursions. Long walks in Cozamel, Ocho Rios, and Grand Caymen. Husband didn't get off in 2 ports due to distance.

Very lean and easy to get to different areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very nice. Only negative comment (not Stewart's fault) we had to select when cabin would be cleaned. All other cruises, they came in during morning to make beds and change towels, etc. and in evening to remake/turn beds down and decorate with towel figures.

Ship tip

The hamburgers and pizza on the Lido deck were some of the best we've had.

Make sure you go to Blue Hole. It was beautiful and very refreshing. You hike thru terrain to swimming holes and they have lines you swing into the water or jump off small cliffs. Our guide Jamar helped me (70 years old) all the way in and out to insure I didn't fall or get hurt.

Cozumel, Mexico

Took Top Ten Excursion and had a wonderful trip. Couldn't believe how much area changed since 1996. Went to Chocolate and Tiquela factories. Excellent tours with lots of samples. Never drank straight Tiquela before and it was smooth. Both gave lots of info on quality and products.

Jajajajaja, I've cruised with Carnival several times and always have a great time. The only ship I would stay away from is Sensation. I just went on a 4 day in May, really outdated. Did the breeze before it went to TX and loved it!

Loved that it was recently dry docked! I will be going in August with my family, what type of pools and slides do they have for the kids?

The splendor was just dry dock in March,so she should look very new and clean. We sail her on 10/22. Been on several carnival ships but never splendor. Give some more ship info. Glad it was good
