Review summary
The ship was nicely decorated and comfortable, but my husband and I received bunk beds in a handicap room for the week. When we attempted to resolve the situation, the Purser was not exactly sympathetic nor able to change our room. In fact, the Purser blamed the fact that I booked through Alaska Airlines ("AA") as the problem. I have been a loyal AA customer for years and, as I believed from the beginning, the problem was not with AA. AA was great in its attempts to resolve the problem, but nothing could be done, so we accepted it for what it was and aimed to have a good cruise regardless. It was a lovely cruise, despite the discomfort of the single bunk beds. Just be ready to get out early if you want a lounge chair near the pools - they crowd up very quickly! Also be ready for a lot of kids, a number of which whose parents believe the ship is the babysitter - i.e., no true parental supervision so they run wild with little reprimand.Ship experiences
