Worse Cruise Ever!

Sail Date: May 22, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

A cheap Vegas knock off. Food was not that great and we were treated like second class citizens by the Matre 'd simply because we booked at the last minute.

Pros: Room staff was the best.

Cons: Matre 'd was offensive from day one.

Recommends Carnival Splendor? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
Those who took care of our room were truly the best. Best part of the whole cruise.
Entertainment
Clealy very talented and love what they do.
Ship Quality
Cheezy. Prepare to be fleeced by Carnival the minute you set on the boat. Total ripoff!
Food and Dining
Nothing to brag about. Lines and more lines everywhere. Dining was something I just want to forget.
Service and Staff
Matre 'd was offensive and nearly ruined the cruise for us on day one.
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Do your own thing. Better deals if you go on your own or book through anyone other than Carnival.
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Again, better deals on your own. Don't book through Carnival.
Don't Miss: Dolphin swim at the water park was great.
