Review summary

It was overall a good trip. The dropping of a port without notice was a little upsetting.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was just good. It was lacking a little compared to other cruises we have been on, which includes Carnival.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Kim, the Karaoke DJ, was outstanding!!!!! They could not have found a better person for the job. We made it a point to get to Karaoke because of him.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Carnival always has the best amount and range of activities.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
This had to be the friendliest ship we have been on. Room stewards, waiting staff and even the bus staff acknowledged you with a hello and a smile.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful setup and always clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Evrything was as expected.

Ports of call

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
Visited Cabo Wabo and the Giggling Marlin.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
Cabo is not much different from other Mexican ports. We did find a place that served Marlin Tacos just up from the light house. I would recommend trying them.
Don't Miss: If you ever wanted to hold a tiger or lion, there is a place that allows you to do just that. Highlight of my daughters cruise.

Pros: Time to relax

Cons: Bumpy ride

Recommends Carnival Splendor? No.
