12 Night Northern Europe (London Roundtrip)
Sail Date: August 30, 2008
Ship: Carnival Splendor
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Singles/Friends
Reviewed: 9 years ago
It was a new ship and it was everything we expected. The one disappoint was that the entertainment was a repeat from our last cruise with Carnival, no new surprises by the cruise director.

Went on a Sunday nothing open, poor planning on the cruise line, you need to do an excursion

Not enough time to see everything, go to the Heritmage and Catherine's Palace.

Loved the ssmall port of Warnemunde, so quaint, ate in the old restored windmill, excellent. Don't forget a visit to the beaches

The area is charming and friendly, easy to walk around on your own and must go on a canal cruise.

Shopping is a must

Pros: The crew of the ship was very helpful

Cons: the excursions had a little to be desired, too rushed, not enough time experiencing the culture.
