Review summary

I will no longer be sailing on Carnival. Low end cruiseline. They only service the cabin in morning now. Ship needed repairs. Big slide NEVER open. Big disappointment to kids. Entertainment not good. Breakfast just so-so, lunch good but dinner was wonderful. The staff we dealt with were great. Grandsons had hard time getting sodas at bars, bartenders ignored them. If this had been our first cruise I wouldn't sail again.

If your first cruise don't let Carnival discourage you from sailing again just use a different cruiseline like Celebrity or Princess.

Went on Spirit Nov 2022 and loved every minute of it. Sorry, it didn't suit you. There are certainly plenty of other cruise lines from which to choose in the future and maybe you'll be a better fit elsewhere.

Most cruise lines no longer service cabins twice a day

Most of the cruise lines have cut back since Covid on many things. Only a few cruise lines still service cabins twice a day now. Never understood why they ever started doing more than once per day.
