Review summary

I always enjoy my carnival cruises. Being with a large group meant I always had something to do, so I wasn't finding faults with the ship or the service.

Embarkation

I arrived a little late and didn't have a stapler to attach my luggage tag, so I had to carry all 3 bags with me. But embarkation at this terminal is always quick, smooth, easy.

Food and Dining

I had no real issues with the food. Dinners in the main dining room. Sometimes the dish was a surprise. Roasted broccoli with 3 cheeses is a soup. Also ate in the buffet, the iguana canteen, guy's burgers and the lucky bowl.

The fitness center was good, hot tub right in the center! Unfortunately the sauna wasn't working most days.

I was with a large group, so we made our entertainment. But we did dance at the nightclub.

I bought an excursion through carnival, but the company doing the excursion said they didn't have anything scheduled for my ship at that time. After discussions with guest services, they put me with a group from another ship an hour later and gave me a partial refund. The activity was...meh. I have more fun just wandering around on my own for free.

Smith55, I might have gotten them confused. I did 2 cruises back to back on Spirit then Sunrise.

Exceptional crew..super friendly and efficient. Food, not bad. Spa, enjoyed the free sauna and steam in men's locker room.
