Review summary

Going on a cruise is a very exciting experience, so when the experience doesn't quite meet your expectations it makes you feel like you wasted your time and money. We always have a good time with the crew and would like to recognize some of them here: Jane, I Kaden, Genic, Apple, and Jerim from the Main dining room Marija and Quince from the candy shop. Jade at the pool, and all the rest who got us through this time.

We very much enjoyed the crew and would like to single out the following group, Marija and Kween at the candy store, I Kadek, Genic ,Apple and Jerim as our servers, Apple, Jane, and Diana- our hosts.Bryan and Jade at the pool, and Mary Ann Sayat up in the buffet.

The ship took days to learn and was rocking the entire time.

Cabin / Stateroom

We always have a balcony room, as sitting outside is wonderful. We had booked joining balconies on the eight floor of the 'Freedom with similar but different itineraries. What we got was 2 balconies on the 6th floor and far from each other. Plus our ship and stops were changed. When we asked for a little compensation for all these changes we were told that there is nothing that can be done. Really? Watch as we cruise on the other lines and go figure out why.

Just try to have a good time, and next time go with Norwegian

Oops. Oh well. Even though I know you won't reply to this comment I just want to say that Cruises have the right to change itinerary and not to compensate you for it. Read your cruise agreements.

Always funny to read when cruisers don't have the best time and say they will try another line. As has been said many times, ships rock. If you do not purchase a definite cabin, just a category, you get "run of the ship," and you are berthed in the last couple of weeks prior to sailing, and assigned a cabin from the category you purchased. If you want to be next door to someone in particular, purchase the cabins. Many times cabin assignment changes are made just prior to boarding. To get the cabin and deck you want, buy it.

If you read the Cruising documents you agreed to even if you didn’t read them stated port’s & itinerary can be changed. Go to another Cruise Line, they all do the same.

I recommend picking your cabins, that way you'll know where they'll be located prior to the cruise. I'm a serious advocate for doing a lot of homework before the cruise. The FunHub helps you keep tabs on operating hours of all areas of the ship, including the buffet. Hopefully you can find a cruise/cruise line that satisfies you...

Lol, ship to days to learn? It's small... the ship was rocking because we had a huge storm in the Atlantic, and why would they give you compensation, you knew of the ship and itenerary Change with the option to cancel before the cruise.

Appreciate your feedback. Sorry you were not accommodated properly. We knew enough ahead of time to change our cruise completely (October to January; Spirit to Vista). It does leave a bad feeling. Hope you find what you want elsewhere.
