Review summary

We originally booked this cruise for Cuba. We were bummed when that changed but ended up being a great cruise.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Port of Miami has been smooth for both cruises I've done here

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We enjoyed dinner in the MDR, buffet lunch on lido, Guy's burgers and sea day brunch.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We didnt get in the pool, kinda bummed there is only one pool but it is an older older ship.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Shows, comedy and latin group were all good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff is always amazing. We didn't see our room steward as much as previous cruises but everything was still good with our room.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was nice, the layout of the older ships takes me a little more time to adapt to.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was clean and the temperature was good. Glad the bed was by the desk to use as a "night stand" I do wish there were more hooks around the rooms.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
I love Miami. We arrived 2 days before. Enjoyed bayside, a 3rd party bay cruise, fishing excursion and some delicious food.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
We got a cabana and it's worth it. Water is amazing and the food was good.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
We did a catamaran, snorkel and beach getaway. The water was rough for snorkeling but carnival can't control that. The beach was a private island and it was beautiful!!! Highly recommend this excursion just for the beach views.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

3 out of 5
We did not go into town. We shopped at the port and had a snack.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and smooth.

Cabana was $360 but I think the price changes depending on the cruising season.

Glad yours worked out! We had the same thing happen for our Dec cruise but ended up with Ocho Rios as a replacement port. Haven't been so I hope like like it!
